Scott's morning smoothies

Scott makes me this smoothie every morning...and it is as Deeeelicious (as Madi says) as it looks.
Here's his recipe...based on one from Alton Brown...this is double recipe to make a smoothie for us both.
I've gotten really spoiled to him making this for us...though he taught me how to do it and I've done it exactly twice...Thank you honey for my yummy breakfasts!

Scott's Deeeeelicious Smoothie
8 ounces milk (skim, full fat, whatever you want...Scott uses skim)
8 ounces acai, grape, or pomegranate juice ...we use a blend that is 100% juice, usually pom/rasp...but whatever is at Costco that week
1 frozen banana, broken up (we peel a bunch and toss em in a freezer bag and leave em in the freezer till we need em)
2 large spoonfulls plain yogurt (we usually use Stonefield farms or a greek yogurt...full fat is so yummy, but fat free works too)
12 oz frozen fruit..we use a blend from Costco of strawberries, mango, pineapple...but peaches, and other berries would be great too...although too many berry seeds are a pain
(Scott puts the liquid in, then the yogurt & naner..then just fills the blender to the top with fruit.)
1 packet sweet n low, 1 equal (its a little tart with out these...Scott is a "sweetner connaisseur..and prefers one of each)
Directions
Combine the milk, juice, banana, fruit & yogurt & sweetner in the carafe of a blender. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 8 hours.(this makes it easier to blen, be Scott usually just pulls it all out of the freezer..although our blender probably won't last long this way...poor motor.)
In the morning, or when the fruit is partially thawed, put the carafe on the base of the blender, start at the lowest speed and slowly accelerate to medium, until you achieve a vortex. Blend on medium for 1 minute. Increase the speed to high and blend for an additional minute. Serve immediately.
We use these hilarious fat straws...that are literally called FAT STRAWS...Erich gave me them from a store that sells tapioca pearl tea...you need the big straw to suck up the tapioca pearls...
These smoothies are our new morning routine...so delicious and such a great way to get all these so good for you fruits/yogurt into your body.
Helps me feel good all day
