This was a good week for food in our home.  Just a regular week (second week of the school year), but the food always makes the week better...and I can't wait to come home and kiss the cook! The tools ready to cook, the right knife (sharpened by dad), a solid cutting board and some Bourbon to sip. time to sauté a bag of onions But Papa Murphy's Cowboy pizza for dinner.  My favorite take out pizza. Crab cakes in the making and our usual salad. sipping bourbon with orange twists the Sautéed onion cooling off and headed to the freezer Scott's crab cakes . Nice and crispy but tender inside.  I loved them...but they didn't meet Scott's standard.   had pilaf left over as a perfect side, with Scott's sauce for the cakes a little pork belly  mushrooms and fixins for Marriage Chili ! spices tender pork loin chili cut beef nice and browned fresh cilantro hot hatch chili...
