Pizza Party...
A good friend called me for this recipe tonight...though we didn't have pizza tonight I post in in honor of a spectacular 15 year old who is celebrating his birthday with pizza, friends and family tonight....Happy Birthday! Simple Pizza Dough (with fresh herbs) Ideal for the small pizza party with good friends :) Makes four 7 inch pizzas or more little ones ...I made a double batch for a pizza party for 5 people...we made lots of mini's 1 package active dry yeast ( I use the instant dry yeast to make it all go faster) 2/3 cup warm water (110 degrees- 115 F) Warm room temp basically...you want it to be warm, but not too warm...use a thermometer until you can tell just by touch pinch of sugar 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 1/4 cup cornmeal 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1& 1/2 TBS olive oil Optional: 1/2 cup fresh rosemary(or 1/4 cup dried)...sounds and looks like A LOT but is sooooo good. You should grow your own rosemary...it's so easy in Texas...stays
